Mindful Moment with Michael – Episode 7 – Mindful Cooking

In this episode Michael discusses the practice of mindful cooking.  Exploring and being present to each moment of the day – is likened to experience each note of a song – feeling and sensing the flow of it’s unfolding. The goal of listening to music is not to get to the end of the song, but to enjoy the feelings, textures and experience it brings to us – we have lost this ability by being lost in the mind stories of endless conceptualizations that take us into the false, illusory experience of past and future missing the gift of this moment.  Mindful cooking is a wonderful way to get back in touch with the natural state of our beings in its simplicity and present-centered focus.
